Kimberly Martinez has joined the team at the Florida HBPA as our new receptionist. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Kimberly has been in south Florida for six years. She previously worked as a receptionist in a medical office, but the “Help Wanted” ad for the opening in the racing industry caught her eye.
“I was looking for a new work experience,” she said, adding, “I don’t have a background in horse racing, but I’m looking forward to learning as much as I can.”
Kimberly replaces Shaina Gorn, who is leaving the Florida HBPA to start a family. We wish Shaina all the best in her new role!
