Horse Lovers! Have You Always Dreamed of Riding on a Legendary Racetrack?

Canter for the Cause
Canter for the Cause
Canter for the Cause participants will be able to walk, canter or trot across the same track that has hosted such champions as Cigar, Holy Bull, California Chrome, Easy Goer, Sunday Silence, Northern Dancer, Unbridled, Needles and so many more.

Are you a horse owner but not a racetracker?  Have you always longed to know what it feels like to ride your horse on a legendary racetrack?

A unique opportunity to do just that AND help retired Thoroughbred OTTBs is coming to Gulfstream Park on November 9, 2019 with the inaugural Canter For The Cause, sponsored in part by the Florida Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association–Florida’s Thoroughbred owners and trainers!

Benefiting the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance and Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center, Canter for the Cause will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gulfstream Park.

With a donation of $50 per trip, riders can participate in their choice of three groups that will ride on the historic Gulfstream Park racing oval:

Group 1 Arrogate (Walk),
Group 2 Gun Runner (Walk/Trot), and
Group 3 City of Light (Walk/Trot/Canter)

The three groups are limited to 30 riders each, so participants are urged to register early.
