Groom of the Month for May

The FHBPA is pleased to recognize Eddie Gonzales as the Groom of the Month for May.

Eddie, 28, is a native of Guatemala. He is married with 2 children who are currently living in Guatemala. He is employed in the Palm Meadows barn of trainer Elizabeth Dobles.
Eddie enjoyed working around horses and cows in his native land, and traveled to California in 2002, where he began working in the standardbred industry. In 2017 he moved cross country to New Jersey and joined the barn of David Fawkes at Monmouth Park. Six months ago, Eddie came down to Florida and began to work for Elizabeth, who says, “Eddie is very informative and does an excellent job.”
Eddie has been on a good roll of late, as 2 of his horses, Vow to Recover and Royal Squeeze have been recent Stakes winners.
We salute Eddie Gonzales for being the May Groom of the Month.
